A yacht sunk, two dismasted yachts, injured sailors rescued by helicopters.

This news were also published in a german magazine, also mentioning the drama in 1998. Is this race only interesting because of its accidents?

the Sydney-Hobart-Race will start on the 26th December. It is one of the most challenging and spectacular race. I hope, we will get some media coverage in Europe, too (If someone knows some good media sources, please tell me).
