Croatia: Sailing related placemarks for Google Earth

Recently, some places in Croatia were added on SkipperGuide. These places can also be displayed in Google Earth to improve the planning of the next sailing trip.

The new articles are mainly stubs, so feel free to add some more detailed descriptions to the articles. Of course, you also can add further articles, placemarks and images.

On my trip, I’ve visited Flores and Faial, so I contributed some descriptions and pictures about these islands. SkipperGuide - interesting web project

SkipperGuide is a wiki-based, maritime cruising guide. The idea behind: everybody can add his knowledge and experiences, and can profit from the contributions of other users. So, an information pool of the consolidated knowledge of many different users can grow.

I think, it is a great idea and worth to be supported. Some interesting descriptions are already available about the Canary Islands, Greece, Norway and Scotland.
Maybe you also have some knowledge about sailing areas, anchorages, harbours, great places to visit or just some tips or corrections: it is quite simple to add it.

The German sports student, Jan Plagmann, choosed a uncommon topic for his diploma thesis: the group dynamics within the crew - on a transatlantic trip.
You don't have often the chance, to study 8 persons, isolated for 3 weeks. But I think, you don't have often the chance to go sailing for weeks in the name of the science :) However, a great idea.

The findings - as reported by a german magazine: the sentiment was good, and in storms, the cohension of the team grew. In summary, they've been "a really cool team".

the Sydney-Hobart-Race will start on the 26th December. It is one of the most challenging and spectacular race. I hope, we will get some media coverage in Europe, too (If someone knows some good media sources, please tell me).
